Overview

Activities that are interactive and customizable support the transition of middle and high school students into the workplace. From the Classroom to the Workplace consists of interactive and customizable activities that facilitate the transition of middle and high school students into the workplace. Activities encourage active participation in a multitude of vocational skills using work – related vocabulary.

From the Classroom to the Workplace Volume I includes the following chapters :

• Grocery Store
• Retail Store
• Housekeeping/Laundry

Each chapter includes overlays designed to influence interactive communication and also features hands-on activities that help students learn vocational skills through a more realistic approach.

Volume I also includes objectives, IEP goals, evaluation forms, a calendar of skills, a variety of parents’ letters, and follow up worksheets.

Requires Boardmaker, Boardmaker Plus! or Boardmaker with Speaking Dynamically Pro v.5 or higher.
